General terms and conditions of sale

Individual booking

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all bookings made by a client, subject to the special conditions applied for certain rates (group rates such as agencies or works councils).
These general terms and conditions of sale are brought to the attention of the client at the same time as the booking confirmation. Any reservation implies the client's full and unreserved acceptance of these conditions.
The prices indicated are in Euros (€) and include all taxes, and take into account the VAT applicable on the day of the reservation. Any change in the applicable rate, or any modification or introduction of new legal taxes by the competent authorities, will automatically be reflected in the prices indicated on the date of invoicing.
The rates are per room for the number of persons indicated and according to the selected period and do not include Extras (breakfasts, pets, or other possible services at the hotel).
The applicable tourist tax is 0,99€ per person over 18 years old.
Reservations from all sources are payable in Euro (€) only.
Hotel La Marine accepts credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), holiday vouchers and cash. American Express and bank cheques are not accepted.

Booking conditions and guarantee

Reservations can be made on our website https://www.hotel-marine.com, by phone, by e-mail or by post.
The reservation will only be effective if it is guaranteed by the guest, either by providing a valid credit card number or by paying a deposit, and after receiving a detailed reservation confirmation. The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation if the credit card number is incorrect or the reservation is incomplete.

Credit card

Upon registration of the reservation, the credit card will be authorised to be charged in order to check its validity. For standard rate bookings, this will be done for information purposes without any charge to the account (pre-authorisation). For non-refundable bookings, the amount of the accommodation is charged on the day of booking, extras and taxes are payable on departure. For long term or multi-room bookings, a deposit will be required.

Deposit

In order to firmly register a long-term reservation (greater than or equal to 4 nights), or a multi-room reservation (greater than or equal to 4 rooms), a deposit equivalent to 30% of the total amount is required at the time of booking, payable either by debit to a given bank reference, or by bank transfer, or exceptionally by cheque in Euros made payable to Hôtel La Marine.

Conditions for modification or cancellation

Any modification or cancellation of a reservation must be requested by email to contact@hotel-marine.com. The request will only become effective once Hotel La Marine has confirmed its acceptance by return e-mail.
General case (Flexible rate or standard rate): Up to 2 full days before your arrival, you can cancel without charge. (example: arrival scheduled for September 10th, cancellation without charge can be made until September 7th, midnight). After this period, the reservation is firm and therefore due, the total amount of your reservation will be charged.
For long bookings (more than or equal to 4 nights): Up to 14 days before your arrival, you can cancel without charge, only the deposit remains due. Less than 14 days before the date, the reservation is due in full. As a reminder, the deposit remains due and is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
For multi-room bookings (4 rooms or more): Up to 14 days before your arrival, you can cancel without charge, only the deposit remains due. Less than 14 days before the date, the reservation is due in full.
For Non-refundable offer: the reservation is firm, it cannot be cancelled or modified at any time. The amount of the accommodation is then deducted at the time of booking; extras and other services are to be paid on the spot, at the Hotel La Marine.
In the event of a No Show on the day of your arrival: the full amount of your reservation is due and will be charged.
In case of early departure during your stay: the totality of your stay is due and will be charged.

Arrival/Departure

On the day of arrival, rooms are available from 3pm until 8pm, when the reception closes. For late arrivals, we advise you to inform the hotel reception of your arrival time. If no news from you after 8pm, Hotel La Marine reserves the right to re-let the room.
On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am at the latest. After this time, additional charges may apply.

Responsibilities

The customer undertakes to respect and ensure respect for the peace and quiet of the premises and the safety of the persons in the premises and therefore to comply with the safety instructions and other regulations of the Hotel La Marine (and in particular the ban on smoking), and not to invite any person whose behaviour is likely to be detrimental to the Hotel La Marine.
The Hotel La Marine declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to the belongings of guests during their stay. The client must ensure the safekeeping of his/her property and equipment.
The client must inform the hotel of any damage caused by him/her. The client is responsible for all damage caused by his intermediary and undertakes, in the event of damage to the premises made available (room, common areas), to bear the cost of repairing the damage.
Any missing and/or damaged object found in the rooms or in the common areas of the hotel and not reported by the client on departure, will be invoiced and paid for by deduction from the client's credit card given as a guarantee.
Any lost or unreturned room keys will be charged at a flat rate (€45) and charged to the guest's credit card as security.
The hotel's rooms are non-smoking, which exposes the guest to a fine and a fee (50€) in case of non-compliance with this rule, as the damage to be followed is the possible non-rental to the next guest and cleaning costs.
